The Story Behind the Shop
Box Co. Antiques & Vintage is more than a shop—it's an extension of who I am. Every piece in the store reflects my passion for creativity, my love of learning, and my deep curiosity for art and history. This shop is not just a collection of antiques and vintage treasures; it’s a journey of self-discovery. As I’ve explored new places, met fascinating people, and uncovered unique items, I’ve also uncovered parts of myself—finding my authentic voice and building a space that feels true to me. Each item has a story, and by sharing it, I hope to preserve a piece of history while connecting with others who value craftsmanship and timeless style.
A Downtown Dream
After moving to Oklahoma through the Tulsa Remote program, I was eager to become involved in the community. When I heard about the Pop-Up Downtown program supported by the Downtown Tulsa Partnership, I knew it was the perfect opportunity. I brought a unique vision to my application: merging West Coast and East Coast design influences with Tulsa’s local charm, creating a space where the stories behind vintage items could be celebrated and preserved for their next owner.
Out of many applicants, I was honored to be one of just four small business owners selected. The experience has been transformative, teaching me the intricacies of operating a physical store and launching a new business. I’m incredibly grateful for the support of the Downtown Tulsa Partnership and for the chance to share my passion with the community in such a meaningful way.
